Job Description:
The Stock Manager at La DoubleJ plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of back-of-house operations while supporting an exceptional in-store and online customer experience. As part of a vibrant and spiritually grounded luxury brand, the Stock Manager embodies La DoubleJ’s mission to design joyful, feel-good clothing for women and maintain operational excellence. This role is critical to fulfilling e-commerce orders, ensuring inventory accuracy, and creating an organized, efficient, and inspiring environment that reflects the vibrant energy of La DoubleJ. Collaborating with the Milan headquarters, the Stock Manager helps uphold global operational standards while reinforcing the brand’s signature attention to detail and luxurious customer service.
Responsibilities:
· E-Commerce Fulfillment
· Prepare and ship e-commerce orders with speed, precision, and a luxury touch.
· Ensure online orders are beautifully packaged to reflect La DoubleJ’s vibrant aesthetic and commitment to a joyful unboxing experience.
· Coordinate with customer service to address special requests, order adjustments, or urgent shipments.
· Maintain accurate records of shipped orders and online store stock levels.
· Proactively resolve e-commerce shipment issues, keeping management and clients informed.
· Stock and Inventory Management
· Receive shipments with care, inspecting merchandise to uphold La DoubleJ’s high standards of quality.
· Steam, fold, and prepare merchandise for the sales floor to ensure it is visually appealing.
· Perform weekly cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and swiftly address discrepancies.
· Prepare for biannual inventory audits by organizing stockrooms and labeling products for efficient scanning.
· Manage stock transfers between the store and Milan headquarters with clear communication and documentation.
Operational Tasks
· Maintain a vibrant, organized, and safe backroom environment.
· Tag, organize, and replenish merchandise promptly to keep displays visually striking and aligned with La DoubleJ’s aesthetic.
· Monitor stock levels, ensuring popular items are readily available for clients.
· Assist with visual merchandising displays during product launches or seasonal updates.
· Manage store supplies, ensuring essential items like packaging materials, tools, and tags are always stocked.
Customer-Facing Support
· Support fitting room operations, including managing “go-backs” and assisting clients with additional product requests.
· Handle transactions at the register when needed, providing seamless and professional service.
· Contribute to maintaining the cleanliness and organization of both sales floor and backroom areas.
Skills & Abilities
· Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with clients, Milan headquarters, and customer service teams.
· Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced luxury retail environment.
· Proficiency with inventory and order management systems.
· Proactive problem-solving skills to address challenges and ensure smooth store operations.
Physical Demands
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders (6-12 feet).
· Perform tasks requiring simple grasping, pushing, and lifting items weighing up to 30 pounds.
· Comfortable with reaching above or below shoulder level.

Requirements
· Previous experience in retail stock or operations.
· Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
· High school diploma or equivalent.
